The timber base can be a choice of a piece of solid oak or mahogany that has been cut and finished with a natural wax. The bottom of the base has been fitted with a protective pad to protect any surface you put it on.
This particular lamp has been fitted with an antique style brass effect light fitting. The electrical insulation has been professionally integrated into the lamp using a 3 core cable (2.0m) and inline switch. Just plug it straight into the mains and away you go. Each lamp will be able to take any e27 light bulb you desire.
